Screen shelter

Temporary screen shelter in the garden

A fast shelter that provides shadow and privacy

Garden shelters come in many shapes and sizes. Some shelters are a permanent addition to the garden, for instance a shelter to provide shadow on the patio. Sometimes it is necessary to put up a temporary screen.

While the garden is being redone, and one waits for the new plants to grow to size, it can be necessary to put up a temporary screen shelter, for instance next to the patio. It might not be pretty, but it is a fast and cost-effective solution that provides privacy from onlookers and shelter for the sun and wind.

A willow screen is another solution that is not too expensive. It takes a couple of hours to make depending on the size and soil quality and it is a lot more aesthetic than the camping-style screen shelter. If it is just a small willow screen it is not necessary to concrete the posts into the ground and if it is a light screen you do not have to drill very deep.
